Do yourself a favor and find other movers. After they had about 3k of my money for a deposit all customer service became dismissive and patronizing. What happened to me has happened to several others from this company. They wait until your cancellation window has passed to tell you that your move will be delayed and sub contracted to movers with horrible reputations, and expect you to just follow through with it since its too late to be refunded or find new movers. When you are first signing that contract the sales person does not once mention the potential for outsourcing and downplays the possibility of a delay, saying the secondary date is just in case but not likely to happen. They have the audacity to move your date out, but that does not apply to your cancellation window. You can only cancel 48 hours before first move date you wanted , not what they push you to. Based on what Ive seen get out as soon as you can, take some time to really do some research and read some verified reviews on consumer affairs and the better business bureau . CANCEL their services the second you think something is off and get your money back.

Never, ever, ever, use IVL. This is the worst company I have ever worked with. Starting from the beginning: the representative I spoke with during contracting significantly underestimated my belongings. I was quoted for a little over $8,000. Second, my pack up and initial moving was outsourced to a third party company - Y & O Moving in the Bay Area. I knew this would be the case, but had assumed that I would at least get reputable movers. This was not the case. They did not come on the contracted day, and instead came a day late. They then failed to pack up half of my belongings, which I then I had pack myself to give to them. I watched them mis-handled my items, including denting multiple pieces of furniture, and damaging many other items. They then charged me an additional couple hundred dollars, which had not been explained, as the representative from IVL underquoted me. My items were picked up on November 20th. I have gotten no communication when they will be delivered, except that it would be as late as January 3rd. I am currently sleeping on my floor with no way to cook, clean, or anything. I do not have the funds to buy all new items, nor would I want to as my belongings are being shipped. At this point I am considering flying back across the country to retrieve my own items, and drive them myself, as I cannot continue waiting with no updates. The representative I am speaking to now is incredibly rude, and does not seem inclined to provide any sort of customer service other than telling me "I cannot tell you when your items will be delivered". This is incredibly disappointing and unacceptable service. I would highly discourage anyone from ever using International Van Lines.

They are now operating under the name "International Van Lines". We were scammed for 17k for our move. Our items arrived broken and it's been radio silence since we tried to dispute. You can view the extent of the damage at: https://www.instagram.com/ivlbrokemystuff/

International Van Lines and its subsidiary Wayflower Van Lines have cost me thousands of dollars in furniture because of their incompetence, deception and lies. Not only did they not take all the furniture they promised to take but when they delivered what was remaining many boxes were missing and many objects were broken.

User's recommendation: As God is my witness , this company and its staff border on criminal. There was no aspect of this move that went right and their was no attempt throughout this to deal with the rights and concerns of the customer.

Missed their own 21 business day window

I selected International Van Lines as My moving Company My date ready for deliver was April 29th As of this writing it is June 9th and I don't have a clear estimation as to WHEN my stuff will arrive. -Twice I was told that it would come the following week (and it didn't) It is very frustrating. I have been emailing and reaching out to international van lines on a regular basis, but there have been a lot of issues, they subcontracted and that driver illegally drove too much and got caught. I've been told that it was going to be shipped the 14th (then no its the 18th) then on the 21st I was told it was shipped and would be there 7-12 days, the following week I was told there was a memorial day weekend delay, and it would be there June 6th or 7th, only to be told.. nope, not making that estimate either.

Every time I move I discard / distribute about 80 per cent and start fresh rather than have my possessions handled by ? and sitting around where ?

For how much money ?

Most stuff isn't worth the cost of shipment if you figure it correctly. Nor are the troubles.
